OCL Zárubek’s new project

In mid-October, potential investors, stakeholders and municipal representatives gathered for the grand opening of the Asental Group’s project, ‘Ostrava City Logistics Zárubek’, which provides flexible business premises for a range of sectors.

OCL Zárubek is one of Asental’s largest investments in the Moravian-Silesian Region. It is situated in the immediate vicinity of Ostrava city centre, and its strategic location, with excellent links to major transport routes, offers an ideal setting for, for example, ‘last-mile logistics’, corporate showrooms or other business ventures in the fields of logistics and light industry, including office facilities.

Photovoltaic panels are installed on the roof of this sustainable building; the office and retail areas are heated by heat pumps; low-emission gas heaters are used in the production and storage areas; and LED lighting is also fitted. The western side of the hall is designed as a ‘green wall’, and in the immediate vicinity of the building there are grassed areas planted with shrubs and trees. OCL Zárubek is therefore eligible to apply for certification under the BREEAM standards at the ‘very good’ level.
